Breitenstein

Breitenstein is the destination of the railway trail starting at Semmering station. The mountain route offers viewpoints over the Kalte Rinne viaduct and other structures along the historic railway.

What makes it special

  • The Semmering–Breitenstein route is about 9–10 km, with around three hours of actual walking.
  • Doppelreiterwarte and 20-Schilling-Blick are viewpoints along the route overlooking the Kalte Rinne viaduct.
